Can I use my own character name?
Yes. Enter your name in the Character name field. Leave it blank to generate one, or select Create backstory from a character-name result to bring its details here.
Why are some classes missing from the choices?
Class choices follow the race compatibility used by this site. Skyborne class choices also depend on the selected allegiance.
Can I generate another story for the same character?
Yes. Select Create backstory again to explore another past while keeping your name and selected details. Changing the tone or length gives you another direction to try.
What does the adventure hook do?
The hook gives your character a lead to follow next. Use it as a starting point for a roleplay scene, a meeting with another character or your next adventure.
Are these backstories official Warcraft lore?
These are fan-made roleplay ideas, not official character histories. Adapt the places, events and relationships to fit your character and the setting you play in.
Can I save and edit a backstory?
